Alex, Dan and Adrian made my experience awesome! In addition to having good people skills they also addressed the issue with my vehicle that other shops could not figure out. Dan figured out the issue the first time. At the time I had brought my vehicle to them other shops had replaced every suspension component on the front end and it still made a popping sound while turning. Dan found the problem and fixed it! Finally the noise is gone. Thank you CCAS!

I absolutely love everything about this Shop they are very knowledgeable and will only fix what is needed. Dan is the man and Alex is the entertainer while you wait! I will not go anywhere else to get my car serviced and they specialize in every make and model. I give them 10+ stars!

My daughter had her driving test scheduled at the DMV office near Contra Costa Auto Service. We were not aware that the left brake light was out and the instructor told us that she would not be able to have her driving test. I asked if I could see about having the light changed and was given less than an hour to return for the test. We went to Contra Costa Auto Service and the crew was amazing. A big shout out to Alex and the mechanics that immediately helped us out and got us back to the DMV within minutes. Great customer service. I highly recommend them.

I bought a 2011 mini copper with a engine leak and a vanos solenoid issue. Dan was super knowledgeable and honest about what I needed to get done. Contra Costa Auto Service was super fast and I was completely confident in their work. I'm like a week out from the repairs and the mini is riding like brand new. Thanks Dan & Keith keep being the reasonably priced honest shop you are!

Great place, super friendly and helpful

They are hopping busy but serviced my three cars as I brought in for a variety of reasons. Write ups were thorough on newer Subaru, end of life Volvo and when older infinity car's engine light came on right after they serviced it for a chunk of money they rechecked and reset computer setting on and all okay now.

The absolute BEST shop I've ever been to. I will never go anywhere else. Keith, Adrian, Dan... These guys go so far above and beyond to take care of their customers that's it's humbling. They are fast, extremely efficient, unbelievably knowledgeable, not only mechanically but structurally and cosmetically as well. They are nothing but respectful and as honest and down to earth as anyone could be. The GREATEST bunch of guys. I'm so grateful for having found them because every place I've been to in the past has been unpleasant. There would be times my car would be sitting at a mechanic's shop for two weeks before being worked on. But Contra Costa Auto Service gets it done within a day or two, depending on the work needed. They know cars! Any make, any model, they are the guys. My husband and I have three cars that we have taken there and we'd never trust anyone else. I've been in the process of looking for a new car to buy and it's been a horrible and stressful task. The only thing that's really kept me going is being able to talk to the guys at CCAS about advice on various makes/models and they tell me the good, the bad and the ugly about each one and whether or not I should stay away or if it's a good find. I've even had Keith call us after hours while we were at a dealership in the middle of not knowing what decision to make, to check on our car search quest. His timing was so perfect because we gave him the car's VIN and he looked it up and told us to walk away from the deal after finding some things that were a little off about the car's history. Goodness knows how much money, time and headache he just saved us from! We did end up purchasing a car a couple of weeks ago and took it to CCAS for an inspection. Right away they found that it had been in a pretty significant accident that had been covered up with new paint and zip ties. We were lucky enough to be able to take it back and get our money back. If it weren't for Keith, Adrian, Dan and the guys, I shudder to think of what situation we would have been in from that fiasco. This shop is, by far, the most professional, caring, and knowledgeable of any I've been to. They have the highest caliber of integrity and honesty of any shop in the bay area (and beyond, I'm sure). Hands down. I'm a customer for life.

Keith gave me a professional assessment for how to prepare my car for my first track day. They changed my brake fluid and went over my car bumper to bumper. Just want to thank Keith and his staff for going above and beyond! I highly recommend Contra Costa Auto Service for all of your Automotive needs.

I’d highly recommend this shop and WILL use them again for any other maintenance. I called for a quote for a failed water pump on my Pontiac Solstice and received a fair estimate (I had done a bit of research and the estimate was well within what I was expecting to pay). They got me in the same day I called and had my car back to me in less than a day’s time. I couldn’t have been more satisfied, Keith and his crew are top notch.
